So we gonna go through the wide world of fashion and edit all into potent bite-sized chunks for ya’ll. Let’s set it off with the flyest of the fly in headgear for the SS18 season. We gonna split the brands down the middle of the alphabet cuz there’s so much heat going on. Let’s get too it!
SPITGAN fav, Astrid Andersen comes thru this season with these lace, pastel durags. It’s a unisex piece, and I thoroughly enjoy the spin on the signature Hip Hop item.
Loewe with this magical tie up head piece. I think it transports you to places of lore like the Shire and ish.
Is this just a piece of fabric on one’s head? From Kenzo’s Memento collection, I think its sculpted with far more intent than I want to give it credit for.
Katie Eary with the transmitter dome piece! It come’s in both fluorescent green and orange. Get you one bubble boy! It’s got good reception I hear.
This denim hat reminds me of a Kim Jones piece from his eponymous line. Those were the days! Na he’s still rockin’ just on a much bigger scale. A leather option is also flav.
How about an exaggerated wizard’s hat? In a fashionable all khaki for these modern days. An Engineered Garments piece of flavor.
Yo this D2 headpiece that caught my eye came with a such a ridiculous ensemble we had to find an alternate image. Let’s forget that travesty and focus on this bugle boy worthy, civil war era, military cap.
MIHARAYASUHIRO-San. It’s so ridiculous how every season you produce pieces worth writing home about cuz I hate having to write your name, then spell check it! Nice electric blue hat. It would have been better with a curved dome finish but who am I to say.
Ah Antonio Marras. You mad scientist of print and pattern clash. I, like you, am such a fan of a dope fisherman cap.
Rottingdean Bazaar you truly humor me with this scissor mask. A hat, it could be argued, this is not, but then I would have to post about this evil genius in isolation. Nah.
This elastic band durag ting ting from a brand called Malibu 1995 was creative. It did much to help the rest of the outfit along. Me I ain’t one for oversized suit blazers and bike shorts.
FENDI did well this season to finally heed the word on the streets and return to a monogram heavy collection. We want logos. Lot’s of logos! This brim filled logo cap is a nice fix. Check the full collection by the way it’s the BOMB!
Oh and Gosha Rubchinskiy, flavor du jour, also manages to sneak in an offering we dig. Rockin’ the nova check, maybe a left over piece from his Burberry crossover? Like the interesting shape of this vintage cap, about the only thing that isn’t Adidas or dad-wear in his collection.
