我們SPITGAN喜歡介紹我們喜愛或勇於嘗試食物及飲料,這次是介紹的是這款蘋果果醋。利申我是一名極愛”醋”的味道,不論吃雲吞麵、點心等,我一定要放大盡的醋才甘心。這飲料上的蘋果果醋的名字好像跟我揮手,就連店舖的老闆跟我說這是每逢吃火鍋的時候必喝的飲料,就憑這一句便買回家試試。當喝下第一口時,我放棄了!它的味道好像喝白醋並混合少少的蘋果味道!極酸!這次我投降!

Oh the lengths we go for you, our readers. Where o’ where art thous? Anyways. We are at our local quicky mart and I see upon this, apple vinegar in a can! I am a huge vinegar fan. I drown wonton noodles in it, dip dim sum in it, drench fries, its all good. So I see this and I’m all in. Even the owner at the counter says its her favorite drink with hotpot! She’s got clout with me so I don’t hesitate. I will divest that when I tried this drink I was zooted but damn! This tasted like I was drinking white vinegar with a splash of apple flavoring. This is intense! For a self-proclaimed connaisseur this was going in deep. I wasn’t ready. This broke me off something fierce. Its not for me. Definitely an acquired taste. Strong, sour, I can’t even remember if it was carbonated. I deaded this not even half way and that was soldiering hard.

這是一款韓國的零食,是朋友告訴我這一定會愛上的一款零食,加上我喜歡嘗試新事物,所以昨晚我終於嘗試了,只用2字形容:太正。不知道是因為調味粉的味道或是本身食物的味道太好,我只能說是好吃。這款食物應該可以在韓國的零食店可以找到,你會愛上。

Yo. This is some Korean goodness right here. When people told me about this I was like, “cheese flavored ramen? WTF.” As you can tell I can be quite pessimistic about new stuff. Damn though. You have got to give this a shot. I just hit some of this last night on a munchie mission. Delicio! Maybe its the double pack of powdered flavoring? Whatever. This stuff is nice. To that stoner out in Korea that invented this, we applaud you.

Oh you got one of those ‘advanced’ taste palettes? Well you ever mess with durian? That spiky looking, larger than a coconut fruit? Kind of looks like a weapon? Ever seen the fruit part you eat? The way its removed from compartments within the shell and it looks like livers or kidneys? Ever smelled the funk? Tasted it in any fashion? Its definitely and acquired taste and it seeks revenge. One of my last times trying it at the cajoling of my uncles, I was burping that pungence all the way home for a good half an hour. Damn thing smelled as fresh as I had just put it in my mouth! When my girl told me, “you got to try the durian popsicle though!” You can tell I wasn’t exactly enthused. Low and behold! Suck it up and you will be rewarded. Popsicle is most def the way to go with this fruit. Its tasty as hell, more creamsicle than popsicle, still with the trademark smell but none of the aftertaste. Seriously, this variation won’t do you wrong. If SPITGAN ain’t do you wrong yet. We won’t start here.

你有奇特的味蕾嗎?有品嘗過榴蓮嗎?就是那個比椰子大還附上尖刺的水果。看似武器。裡面的果肉試了沒有?果肉從果殻起出來時,外型就像肝臟和腎,氣味更加“動人”。這榴蓮絕對是個人化的口味,一不小心它可能衝擊味蕾太要緊。上次也是最後一次在就是在叔叔慫恿下試了,在回家的半小時路上還“榴蓮飄香”於味蕾間,就像剛剛把它放進口裡一樣。我的女友說,“你一定要嚐嚐榴蓮味冰棒時,我絕對沒有大興趣。但是停停!勇敢一試之下就獲得味蕾回報了!冰棒和這種水果真合襯,好吃到無法形容,這像奶油狀的冰棒真不錯,有榴蓮香味可是沒有了那種久久不散的“惡味”。真的,試試無妨,Spitgan何時有騙過你?

藝術品真的是無處不在,不論在街上、身上等都存在,現在連食物變成藝術品。日本壽司藝術家Takayo Kiyota想到將壽司變成藝術品,利用不同顏色的食物材料化身顏料,仿如在白白的飯上畫畫一樣,造成不同的圖案,如臉書上的讚好圖案、名畫「吶喊」、美人魚等,十分有趣。那如果將這些壽司吃掉的話,那會是什麼味道呢?那食美人魚和「吶喊」等圖案時,那感覺又時什麼呢?

Mmmm…sushi! could go for some right now! This gentleman, Takayo Kiyota clearly has not grown beyond playing with his food, or perhaps has come full circle to it. Look at this artistic futomaki! Full of fun, are there any limits to the subject matter? A true sushi artiste, better than half the new art I’ve seen at exhibitions. Good on ya. What will be version 2.0?
