Part Deux. Nicola Formichetti goes diggin’ in the crates of Diesel. An homage collection to what came before. Patchwork pieces, in mostly black. A couple really jumped out at us, which we highlighted. The visuals for the campaign include everything from animated Gifs, 3D videos to digi campaign images. All shot by the master Nick Knight on an Iphone and given the SHOWstudio treatment. Ugh. A monster.

Nicola Formichetti正式掌管Diesel大旗,頭炮就是個致敬系列,我想這大概是個翻查品牌存檔的回顧動作吧。我承認我沒有多看設計背後的意念,但是這系列的影像非常鮮明。就是大師Nick Knight的鏡頭下的才能綻露“real people”個性吧,我想。加入他簽名式的數碼效果,整件事乾脆俐落,Diesel易帥,這系列的確打響了頭炮。
Nicola Formichetti sets off his tenure at the helm of Diesel with what they are calling a tribute collection. I guess this is some, ‘digging into the archives’ thing. While I admit I haven’t gone to deep into the info, the images for this capsule really jumped out. No other than Nick Knight has been enlisted to snap it up with some real people, I think. Adding his trademark digital effects to slick the whole thing out, at least the new regime has started off with a bang!
