SPITGAN MAGAZINE: SPITTING MAD FIRE
Many interesting flavors for shorts this season. CDG definitely had an interesting twist with sparkly, voluminous ones. Gosha went short short, Kolor had a dope layering one, and Lou Dalton’s I would look to add to my wardrobe! Check what caught our eye below.

今季Raf Simons為Calvin Klein做了很多超棒的裙裝，斯文性感的、型格瀟灑的、時尚創意的…很多很多的好看裙子。特別是裙的物料，例如藍色和紅色的V領連身裙和黑色斜肩裙用上了風衣般的材質，反光的光感讓人看起來端裝的。而物料因為比較輕，做到隨風飄逸的瀟灑效果。另外彩色流蘇的三件連身裙也同樣美妙，以魚網和流蘇作主要材料，織出長短不同的裙擺和蓬度，造成不同形狀的裙子。身體的擺動讓流蘇不停舞動，十分狀觀。
Really digging the dress varieties from Raf Simon via Calvin Klein this season. Raf referenced Americana circa the mid-west; cowboy influences. The dresses not so much. They floated within the collection, but also stood out on their own. From nylon, solid color one’s on a more minimalistic approach, to tassled, textile pieces with a more deliberate form. Much great variety to choose from here!
很高興看到我們的香港設計師LUKE CHAN的系列繼續發展和成熟。這是LUKE CHAN第二次在FIRST LOOK 中展示最新系列，繼續從愛德華時代的英國尋找靈感。他的FW18系列使用了非常平坦的色調，在仔細檢查後非常有趣。你可以看到系列都是英國人低調的陰沉灰色，以及令人驚訝的軍事綠色。當中特別欣賞這個季系列中微妙的運動裝主題。加油吧！
Great to see Hong Kong designer Luke Chan’s collection continue to grow and mature. Presenting for the second straight season with FIRST LOOK, Luke continues to find inspiration from Edwardian England. For his FW18 collection, he used a very flat color tone which was very interesting upon closer inspection. British overcast greys made for all over looks, as well a surprising military green that may have almost gone unnoticed by those in attendance. Accessories were also prominent from flat point shoes, to a large brimmed hat for the final exit look. Particularly appreciated the subtle sportswear theme incorporated into this season’s collection. Looks 6 and 8 were the ones for me! Onwards and upwards Luke Chan.

My gut tells me that me and Esteban collide one in a blue moon. Taste I mean. That blue moon has arrived this season. Besides hoping the first piece is not real fur, I dig the clash all over here. The piece in white is a surprise, a respite from the rest of the collection which is a goulash of patterns and fabrics. Enjoyable though with the whimsical cuttings to the sportswear an extra plus!
Diet Prada has a real hard-on for Ellery but I’m down. Clearly there is an influence but a lot o’ designer brands are under the influence now. If you called ’em on it, really what would be left? Diggin’ this season’s innovations too, cuts and materials. The details on the knits, unconventional openings. The woman is tough and angular, coulda really worked well in the new Bladerunner. Keep on!
