We first encountered Chinese artist Liu Bolin’s work at Art Basel Hong Kong a few years back. Then Art Basel was small, maybe in it’s second year in HK, and the upper floor was dedicated to emerging artists or something like that. His photography, self-portrait work was stunning. Blending himself into the Bird’s Nest stadium in Beijing. etc. Well look at him now! Another stunning photoshoot by Annie Liebovitz for Moncler. This collaboration has produced some stunning work the last few seasons. Truly impressive concepts and execution. Salute to Moncler for investing in great advertising!

近來的Burberry好像都是女裝比男裝吸引。可能是女裝原本的空間就較大吧!起碼在今季中,女裝的毛衣、恤衫和衛衣,都比男裝有趣多了!
我對那件藍色工作服最感興趣,超男性化的輪廓,卻配上Lace邊作裝飾,有時候這種淡淡散出來的女性感更令人著迷。另外,今季他們還有很多斜肩設計的毛衣和衛衣,當中有件白色lace斜肩連身裙配印花恤衫,感覺很新鮮; 而灰色不規則斜肩的衛衣和白色Lace連身裙的這一套,可以因為灰和白的顏色,加添了斯文的感覺,但不規則的剪裁就多了一份輕鬆感。

You know those situations where the story in your imagination is betta than reality?! On first look this is one of them. This collection is bongos! Really impressed with the Dolce & Gabbana SS17 collection for men. It’s a complete 180 from the nosedive of the recent past. I thought this was inspired by Latin jazz, but in truth it was inspired by the first meeting of Dolce and Gabbana, at a club called No Ties. The song ‘Africa’ by Toto was playing, Domenico Dolce vividly remembers and that’s that! So the real ain’t so bad. The cuts and looks make me think of the very flamboyant cultures of Latin America, and the patterns are just buggin’. I dig the madness mucho! Salute and here here to the new energy of Dolce & Gabbana!

Paule Ka今季的相片選在樹藤下的一幅牆。我第一時間想起Emma Watson主演的Beauty and the Beast中貝兒這個角色。因為這系列的感覺充滿自信和活力,而且帶點無懼的女性感覺。
Paule Ka過往的系列都有受到日本文化的影響,而今季她的演繹並非在衣服的輪廓之上,而是將不同原素的東西抽出來,再重新演繹在自己的設計上,例如腰後的綁帶連身裙、闊袖的西裝等。印花圖案配上藍色和黃金色的設計同樣充滿日本味道。

When you think of some of the most iconic shit with Diesel you definitely think of the ad campaigns. Straight up I really can’t tell you a memorable piece of clothing they’ve ever created, but ads? Yeah I got a lot of them stuck in my mind for shizzle. This season Diesel hits it right on the mark again with this, “Make Love Not Walls” campaign. Clearly a stand against Trump, David LaChapelle returns to form with this series. His interpretation/culture appropriation? of Tiananmen Square is spot on! Will this ad run in China? I think not. A bold move in itself. Salute to the brave! Diesel!
