GoldLink named his new album ‘Diaspora’ and Wow… the title fits the album so well. As someone who considers herself part of the diaspora (Haitian-American living in China), it’s always dope to find music that speaks to every part of me. ‘Diaspora’ does just that, Goldlink combined afrobeat vibes with his usual hip-hop vibes which resulted in basically what so many of us immigrant kids are: a combo of both (or more) of our worlds.

GoldLink also brought on some major afrobeat superstars to feature on the album, we’re talking Wizkid and Maleek Berry. This album is basically your soundtrack for those mornings (or afternoons) when you’re just chillin’ on your Airbnb porch (or in a hammock somewhere) during your tropical vacation.
