All these 1930’s inspired looks of flappers, show girls and glamorous fashionable icons of the decade are what we need to channel the dream life of The Great Gatsby. Much like the trend of wearing sparkly clothes, it’s even trendier now with the flapper girl silhouette.

The thicker, more old fashioned version of blankets- quilts. I like to imagine it that way, because nobody really uses this word verbally, we use the term “blanket”. This fall and winter we can see many brands incorporating the quilt like look into their runway outfits, it’s the classic criss cross pattern indented by stitching, leaving the unstitched areas a square puff. I am excited to show you the coziness of these styles brought by many different brands, from simple to glam.

First it was the off shoulders look that everybody were raving about, that all brands were selling, that every girl in 2017 had to get their hands on. It was an essential piece because showing off shoulders and collarbones are just so flattering. Lately I’ve been seeing clothes with only one off shoulder being sold in stores but not many people were crazy about them, neither was I. This all changed when I looked at FW18 runways and saw the numerous beautiful one shoulder outfits, and now I want more one shoulder tops and dresses too.

不論男女這季的格仔可說是無處不在。講起格仔不能不提Burberry的經典格仔吧，但今季我居然在其他品牌的runway上見到Burberry！？原來是Gosha Rubchinskiy x Burberry的系列，雖然Burberry從上幾季開始變得入屋，但設計似乎未能完全貼地。反而Gosha Rubchinskiy和Burberry的系列就更加吸引人。希望Riccardo Tisci 可以帶領Burberry走到正確的路上吧。
