It is true! Fashion is ahead of the curve. These looks from Comme De Garçons look like would fall right in with stylish women today, only that they were created in 1992! Titled, “Unfinished”, Rei Kawakubo’s collection was 144 pieces strong! Predominantly white, what really stood out were these fantastic patterned pieces and accessories. Chinese and Tibetan prints, checks, stripes etc, all mish-mashed together to stunning effect. An homage to wedding dressing, A.F. Vandevorst’s SS19 offering was a memorable offering. Personally most taken with the use of multiple lace applications on certain pieces. Upon further research, A.F. Vandevorst’s runway centered around, “ten unique pieces extracted from vintage wedding dresses and tuxedos in an array of ivory and white.
