What is this? Bread-on-a-stick of course! If your familiar with China you know for some quick eats there are a lot of road side stalls with skewers; veggies, and meats. So the story goes, we were in the middle of butt-funk and settled for a dinner at a skewer restaurant that seemed popular in the neighborhood. The locals were over-friendly to obnoxious, but we saw them eating a skewer never seen before. What exactly? Yep, bread. It wasn’t bad. It went well with our beer. What made it tiresome was that all our skewers were marinated in the same spice, so after a while everything just tasted the same. Bread roasted over fire. With spice. Get you some.
這是什麼?相信認識中國的人對這個食物並不陌生,這是麵包串燒。在中國的街邊小食有很多,蔬菜串燒、不同肉類的串燒。故事就是這樣發生,我們一伙子人去了附近一間頗有名氣的串燒攤吃晚餐。那裡的人十分之熱情地招呼我們去試一些食物,有一款我們都沒有看過,這是麵包串燒。這味道搭配著啤酒真還不錯。但不好的是所有串燒都用同一種醃料醃製,所以所有串燒的味道是一樣。但麵包串燒味道,加上香料,真特別。下次經過的話,耍試試這個吧!
