The designs, Mary Katrantzou, the shoes, Gianvito Rossi. Mary’s up to her old tricks with these brightly colored pop art patterns that adorn the shoes. What really catches my eye are the shoe silhouettes. The open ankle boot, and especially the curved low cut lace up, with no openings. Not to say the patterns ain’t fly but the shapes are the progress. Keep on, keepin’ on.
Black boxes on planes are actually coloured bright vermillion, a sharp orange. They are built to withstand an impact of up to 3,400 times the force of gravity and temperatures up to 1,000 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. They are also watertight to 600 metres and can stay intact for 30 days.
These are some wild funk right here! John Galliano men’s, don’t sleep. Don’t sleep on the women’s either for that matter. Designer Bill Gaytten deserves more props for his work. He’s the real deal. All Hail!
