Thought this season Neil Barrett’s collection was a slam dunk. If the collection was a slam dunk, his geometric sweaters in patchwork materials were 360 windmills. The color combinations were tight, fabric mixes, a nice quirky touch, and the cut, butters. If you got the loot for this stuff, I would make a bee line to your neighborhood Neil Barrett store ASAP.

What do Berluti and Maarten Baas have in common? An appreciation for fun they say. For Miami Art Basel 13, Berluti will present 4 unique pieces by the designer, sprecifically created for the house. The 4 pieces include: a valet, 2 mirrors, and a chaise longue. All objects have been hand-modeled in Baas’ unique synthetic resin-based clay, which coats the metal structures to give it a rounded softness. As you can see by the product shots.

看看這四射的光芒。MISSONI FW13由Alasdair Mclellan操刀，拍得實在太好了！簡單的概念加樸實的拍攝，卻帶來強烈的衝擊。就是這樣出色的作品令人興慶自己身在時裝界。喜歡處處流露自然的光影和感覺。一氣呵成地不僅展示了整體的概念，同時兼顧了每件作品的各個細節。肅然起敬！

Look at this brilliance. Missoni FW13 was shot by Alasdair Mclellan and boy did he outdo hisself right here! The concept and excecution are simple, but the impact really hits. Recognize. Work like this makes me appreciate being part of the fashion industry. Love the natural light look and feel. Laid out as page spreads the concept really works down to the details with miniatures of the set represented through and through. Salute!
