高級品牌Lanvin走進運動世界,推出新一季的運動鞋。作為運動迷的我們,當然立即向大家匯報。看到這季的運動鞋,有不同顏色的搭配,亦有不少細節可以留意,如不同的物料拼湊而成,這方面花了不少心思。但我覺得這運動鞋欠缺了LANVIN的特色。有一點可惜,但是這次為之後的運動產品方面打下根基,相信之後可以更好。

SPITGAN staff is divided right down the middle on these kicks by Lanvin. So it clearly falls on the ‘pro’ side to write the caption. Nice color ways and sublte details do it for me. Lacings, mixing textures, even some clear sole action give the shoe a lot of flavor. I think overall the silhouette is on point as well. Add another to the growing Lanvin sneaker archive.

在大家的印象中Adidas只是一個運動品牌?! 它不只是一運動品牌,它有不同合作的副線,如Adidas by Stella McCartney, Adidas X Jeremy Scott, Y-3…,,而The new Opening Ceremony X Adidas亦是其合作副線之一。看到這季2013FW秋冬系列十分喜愛,尢其是其印花圖案和顏色搭配,令人另眼相看。這季它們用了攀登作主題,表示有趣及年輕,而看到每件衣服的搭配性很高,可以搭配出不同的個性和感覺。

One thing Adidas does really well is the fashion collaboration. The new Opening Ceremony X Adidas line for FW13 is no exception. In fact, it has only improved. Really liking the patterns and color palettes. The climbing theme is nicely incorporated, the men’s high top looks fresh, and the panelled quilting pieces seem versatile in many a mix and match situation. Get yours.

等了又等,終見有人有膽量試一些新點子。宣告要重新改變形象的Swank,找來在業界享負盛名的國際級插畫師Ashley Wood為其秋冬季廣告專輯作畫。是次Wood的創作充滿新鮮感、獨特且甚具啟發性,與他一貫喜以黑暗、單色調說故事,而題材大膽的風格有點出入。他那黑暗、充滿啓示錄色彩,且總帶點色情的風格,叫人難以將他跟Swank兩者聯想在一起,但就是因為意想不到,更令是次合作變得更難能可貴。看來Swank要改變品牌形象並重踏上品味之路的野心十分堅決,這個充滿驚喜的合作計劃,確實抵讚!

New, distinctive and artistic, the FW13 ad campaign from The SWANK features illustrations by none other than world class artist Ashley Wood. As The SWANK defines its image make over, this is one giant step to the moon. How did this collab- oration come about? Who recommended Ashley Wood of all people? We promise to follow up. From the looks of it, the images seem quite inspired. Quite a departure from the dark, nearly monotone palettes Ashley usually deploys, not to speak of the subject matter. If you are familiar with his work, Ashley’s illustrations are post-apocalyptic, dark, and sexually charged. Not something you would immediately tie to The SWANK, but all the better for it; even braver to collaborate. Watch out now, a warning shot that The SWANK has returned to prominence. Salute!

Kudo’s to Alexander Wang and Co. for this concept. Free giveaway? That’s pretty generous. “I liked the idea of creating a destination that‘s unknown, mysterious, and fun, where people can connect.” (A. Wang) Was the hope for a friendly, proper connection because this generated mayhem! Would love to see an uncut, uncensored version of this event. Adds meaning to the phrase ‘fashion victim’. Still a great fashion happening thats for sure! Pack your boxing gloves fashionistas…

打破平庸的日常生活,就像這一季PRADA(普拉達)FW2013秋冬男女系列中拍攝了一個古怪有趣的廣告。片中出現大量的吸煙情節,真的讓人逃避現實生活而沉醉入去。而去到中間,一名中年男子拿著捲起的香煙,之後留下一圈白矇矇的煙圈做一片中的過場,加上尷尬的走位,真的十分古怪有趣及真實。平常只能看一些沉悶的廣告,請享受這不一樣的吧!

Riffing on the banalities of everyday life, Prada presents a quirky video featuring both men’s and women’s lines for Fall/Winter 2013. What copious amounts of cigarette smoking have to do with it escapes me. The middle aged man with the rolled joint or backwards cigarette provides hilarity as do details like the solar eclipse portrait and the awkward glance scene. Enjoy.
