Oooh. So supposedly Cole Haan is no longer part of the Nike family of brands but we question whether they have formally severed ties with the tech division as well. These shoes at glance, look to carry the innovations of Nike Tech to the next logical progression in the Cole Haan portfolio. Called the, ‘Zero Grand Collection’, this is a full range. We chose to highlight these one piece lazer cut version as to our tastes. There are several styles including more traditional suede stitched color ways, so don’t hesitate to dig out the one that grabs your goat. The new sole is ‘ultra-flex’ as advertised, and looks rather inspired by Lunarlon tech. Its always been a good look for Cole Haan to run with Nike. Don’t know why it should stop here.
Why is this a hidden gem? Well it’s also Penelope Cruz’s directorial debut. So lets raise a glass.

There are somethings you just got to stand up and applaud. Thus the joys of life no? This Levi’s campaign is off the heezy! We are blown away. Such a simple shoot executed to perfection. A few digi tricks (no one believes they actually created a UFO for this do they?) and a narrative, BOOM! The colortone, clothing and model casting are all sublime. Everything looks money. I’m going out on a limb here, saying the vintage feel of this shoot is to tie into what is called the Levi’s ‘Vintage Clothing’ line. Apropos, salute!

My favorite thing about the re-issue of the Converse Weapons is the skate edition. They the low cuts but they also the classier re-iteration. The mids just got done up on the fashion tip and some of the colorways I just feel disrespect the whole thang. To each their own. A word of caution for any inexperienced sneaker heads, skate shoes always have a thicker tongue and maybe wider for the sporting purpose they were made for. If you don’t mind then I recommend these bad boys!
