2014 G-Star campaign featuring Ms. Lily Cole and a Magnus Carlsen. Familiar? Magnus is only the current world’s top ranking chess player. He was a grandmaster at the age of 13, and won the title of World Chess Champion in November 2013. He’s also been modeling for G-Star since 2010. Other than that tidbit, the ad designs are pretty fresh. Well at least a different approach to your typical glossy image. A nice cut and paste DIY approach to the whole thing. G-Star has also cooked up some nice pieces this year. Stay tuned.

BAD ASS. John Hardy silver. Know about this? When my bespoke tailor homeboy put me on to this stuff years ago, showing me a few John Hardy chains in his collection, it blew my mind. Boy where those some pieces. The distinctive dragon scale interlock, the style of the design. SICK! Now we have tapped the main line and here is a cuff from the Naga collection. Big and chunky, its officially a women’s piece but if you didn’t label it I would have guessed men’s. Enjoy.
