An exploration into “how fashion designers are reconciling the handmade and the machine-made in the creation of haute couture and avant-garde ready-to-wear”. This year’s Costume Institute, spring 2016 exhibition, curated by Andrew Bolton, presents 150 ensembles dating from the early 20th Century to visually represent the progression. So our ambitious asses is back! Bigger and better as they say with each coming season. So we gonna go through the alphabet again, running through the who’s who of fashion and shouting out those that be doing it for us for the tweener seasons. Pre Fall 2015 is up and its in its teenage stages, growing into its own season. Strap up. Of course most of this is sourced from the main 3 fashion weeks of NYC, Milan, Paris with a sprinkle of London.
