這些不是化妝品,而是出自設計師Lulu Guinness手筆的手抓包。Lulu Guinness的確有相當多的幽默感,嘴唇與口紅造型的手抓包內放的也會是女性的化妝品,想想口紅內的口紅又或嘴唇內的口紅的場面,多過癮!
These are not cosmetics. These are clutches shaped as cosmetics. Lulu Guinness, the more I see of her work it definitely carries a fun humor to it. Feminine and playful as always, this reiteration sees the classic red lipstick case and a set of pastel pink lips embodied as the casings for these clutches.

有時候看到一些創作會叫你不其然站起來鼓掌,像這輯Levi’s的廣告專輯就是其一。簡單的概念,沒有過火的數碼修圖效果 (在今日非常稀有) ,攝影、圖片色調、時裝造型跟模特的演出都非常真實,那怕故事說的是U FO 的到來,在沒有畸形的過分修圖下 (只用了少許技巧做出UFO的形態),看起來還是有說服力。在今日90% 攝影師的作品看起來都相差無幾之際,這輯充滿懷舊感的照片,更特圍而出,同時含蓄地表現了Levi’s Vintage collection的特質。我要向它致敬。
There are somethings you just got to stand up and applaud. Thus the joys of life no? This Levi’s campaign is off the heezy! We are blown away. Such a simple shoot executed to perfection. A few digi tricks (no one believes they actually created a UFO for this do they?) and a narrative, BOOM! The colortone, clothing and model casting are all sublime. Everything looks money. I’m going out on a limb here, saying the vintage feel of this shoot is to tie into what is called the Levi’s ‘Vintage Clothing’ line. Apropos, salute!

如果Chloe 2014春夏系列這款船跟鞋的色調叫你聯想起多瑙河的話,你就在正軋上,因為這個顏色的官方名字真的為「多瑙河」。沒有去過多瑙河的人士也許會感到驚異,多瑙河的河水是這麼的叫人惡心嗎?C hloe那個陽光下美得仿如人間仙子、不吃人間煙火的飄逸少女去了哪裡?她這個腳踏滿佈多瑙河泥漿的船跟涼鞋的形象卻吸引了我,因為她終於不再完美無暇,其實不完美的完美,更有真實感。
Important! New color alert. Chloe has coined the canvas color on this wedge, Danube River. I’m with it! If you knew the people inventing official color names you would cheer for alternative sources too. If this is true to the color of the Danube, isn’t it a pretty disgusting color for river water? Otherwise, Chloe seems to own the high end girlie girl style eh? It always paints a romantic picture of nymphs running through late afternoon sun to me. Maybe this blonde hashish is getting to me. Like I care! These wedges are phat like that!
