They’re baaack…Reebok Blacktop Battlegrounds. I know you’ve been screaming and writing petitions for these shoes to be re-issued and finally Reebok has acquiescenced. I don’t know these shoes. Clearly from the Pump era, one of Reebok’s great contributions to the basketball shoe hall of fame. These elude me. The press release says somehow Sinbad was involved which clearly made me blink/whince. Anyways, I can see all non-ballers getting down with these in a fashion situation and some brave souls might bring it back to the courts. Sometimes you go for a little browsey-browse, looking for nothing in particular, and BLAM! There it is. That piece you didn’t realize you needed. That’s exactly what happened when we stumbled upon these in Shanghai. Luckily my pockets were on ‘E’ or I would have most definitely copped me a pair. This Onitsuka Tiger x Andrea Pompilio thang is a whole capsule collection from what I can see. I only snapped the kicks, which if I had to pick a piece in the collection and nothing else, one of these would be the joints. Its a play on patterns from the clothes to the soles, and its pretty fly. For both men and women. Hats, tanks, tees, these kicks, and some short shorts are all in the mix. Who is Andrea Pompilio? An Italian designer, who’s namesake brand’s been around for 4 years. It looks pretty modern and of interest. So if you don’t check him, we will!

Looking sharp! Unexpected and out of the blue is always good. Especially when its some hotness like this; some very tailored pieces of denim. I also like the fact that its just the one color of denim, albeit cut this way and that. Simple but oh so elegant! Looks like you could cut your hand on the pant creases!
