As I write this post, the one thing Garbstore and the girl taking the selfie have in common is that I have no idea who either is. Garbstore has laced up these Reeboks real nice though. Oooh so fresh and so clean. Digging the materials, the details and the color tone. Givin’ me that love jones down to my bones! Oooh. Like how even the Reebok logo is downplayed to a minimum. Get get get’em!

They’re baaack…Reebok Blacktop Battlegrounds. I know you’ve been screaming and writing petitions for these shoes to be re-issued and finally Reebok has acquiescenced. I don’t know these shoes. Clearly from the Pump era, one of Reebok’s great contributions to the basketball shoe hall of fame. These elude me. The press release says somehow Sinbad was involved which clearly made me blink/whince. Anyways, I can see all non-ballers getting down with these in a fashion situation and some brave souls might bring it back to the courts. They have re-issued the Ewing…In retrospect maybe they do have something going on.

Reebok, Reebok, you intrigue me. These new crossfits I’m really feeling just from a design and textile perspective. I guess they are designed with exercise in mind, but I am glad you have transcended that brief into something more grand.
