THE SPACE STONE EP. DJ CHONG WIZARD

Press rewind if he hasn’t blown your mind! Chong Wizard’s, ‘The Space Stone’ project has arrived. The 3rd installment of his Infinity Stones ouvre, and hot on the heels of, ‘The Reality Stone’. Let’s also give it up for cover artist Rob Isreal who is just outdoing himself time after time. This Galactus is just bonkers. Marvel is gonna go H.A.M. The 6 cuts on here are the most cohesive of the bunch. We are extra partial to, ‘Secret Wars: Juice Crew Vs. Heiroglyphics’, ‘Galactus’, ‘Super Sons’, and ‘The Kryptonians’. If that’s about the whole damn thing well you know how we feels then! Check the BANDCAMP stream link below and go cop this project. The sounds plus the whole damn package is AA quality and brought to you with much effort. Respect due!

YAO MING. GUNNA

Written by Tina Rateau @blue_spiritu

Need more Atlanta vibes in your playlist? Check out Yao Ming by Gunna (produced by Wheezy & Turbo)! Thanks to this song, I now have a new way of describing of how much guap I have (if⁣
I ever get rich). On this track, Gunna speaks of his newly acquired success and the women that come with it. Some honorary mentions on his new album are One Call (produced by Turbo &⁣
Jet) and Speed it up (produced by Turbo).⁣

GUNN CLAP. FALCON CREST X THEREALSKITSO X SULLY NOMAD

BLUM! BLUM! BLUM! The rugged cinematics of this collabo, laced by TheRealSkitso. ‘Erebody come wit it here but Tizzo’s own, Falconcrest, shines extra hard, setting off the track with a nasty 1-2!

A LOT. 21 SAVAGE FT. J.COLE.

Written by Tina Rateau (@blue_spiritu)

These past few days, 21 Savage has been through ‘A LOT’ to say the least. On his record ‘A Lot’ Savage teams up with J. Cole to deliver a reflective track (produced by J. White Did it & DJ Dahi) which he has paired with remarkable visuals. First things first, we absolutely MUST acknowledge the skill in the production of this track. The producers have tastefully paired drums with a sample from East Underground’s ‘I Love you’.

Savage reflects on his past, from the hardships of growing up in Atlanta to the pain of losing numerous friends and suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. He later (in the extended version) speaks of current events such as the water crisis in Flint, Michigan and the mistreatment of migrants at the US-Mexico border.

One of the highlights of this track is definitely J. Cole’s appearance [and homeboy had A LOT to say]. Cole spoke of the current state of the music industry (I personally found the faking streams phenomena quite intriguing), his career and current names both in hip hop and basketball.
