Truly a symphony. This fashion show was “Mobb Deep”. An ensemble cast of knitwear flavors from the up-and-coming in Hong Kong. Organized by the good people at HKKIDS (Hong Kong Knitwear Association, lets say), there was some real talent to be had in this season’s crop. Hong Kong’s future is in some capable hands. Hopefully these young guns will be allowed to foster on home turf! We sent in a worse for wear, Nick D to photograph the proceedings backstage and somehow he turned some, “too cool for school” models into a laughing and smiling mess! PT.1.

毒品/CENTERSTAGE HK. HKDA MIRAGE SHOW

50+ pieces representing a fair majority of the members of HKDA, the Hong Kong Designer’s Association. This show was like entering a time capsule to a bygone era of design. It was unfortunate that very few of the pieces captured the spirit of design today. Notable exceptions include the first image of the yellow dress and perhaps the shorts with hat, navy pieces of image 4. Other shots represent details of the spectacle and atmosphere that caught our eye. Lets keep moving forward.
