Reebok, Reebok, you intrigue me. These new crossfits I’m really feeling just from a design and textile perspective. I guess they are designed with exercise in mind, but I am glad you have transcended that brief into something more grand.
Backpack rap needs backpacks right? How bout this fly joint from Lanvin? In case you were wondering WTF does flocked mean? Straight from the press release, “Flocking, the textile screen printing technique popular in the 1980s, has made a big comeback at Lanvin using a fresh new medium for summer 2014: leather.” Confused by an explaination yet again. Anyways flocked or not, focus on the total package that is the backpack and nothing more.
Here’s a nice collection. Fendi comes with a sunglass and reading glass range with some fresh color combinations. Its like they’re doing sneaker colorways with these! We’ve highlighted some of our favorites. The creme de la creme though is the first pair of shades. The ill shape and zig zag sides are too hype! Get you some!
Part Deux. Nicola Formichetti goes diggin’ in the crates of Diesel. An homage collection to what came before. Patchwork pieces, in mostly black. A couple really jumped out at us, which we highlighted. The visuals for the campaign include everything from animated Gifs, 3D videos to digi campaign images. All shot by the master Nick Knight on an Iphone and given the SHOWstudio treatment. Ugh. A monster.
