Got to say I am a fan of Alberta Ferretti. This year not one to be remembered for me. The make up was interesting and va-voom! THIS ad campaign hit all the right notes. Tim Walker was definitely the right call to imagine this visually. Especially the group photos. Through his lens and compositions, they make for creative jolts and much needed interest in the collection. Styling by Carine Roitfeld, hair by Malcolm Edwards, make up by Sam Bryant, and featuring Kiki Willems, Lexi Boling, and Lineisy Montero as models.

Took the name Area quite literally here. Was interested in the area’s where the garments would or wouldn’t show the body beneath. It’s a bit difficult to see the individual pieces from the runway shots, some might be more imagined than real, like the last look which isn’t all that avant garde, but in a distressed denim, pretty fresh. Also, the one legged pant suit, and panelled skirts somehow work to my tastes where others have failed.
