Ya’ll still don’t know? DirtyDiggs are two Filipino brothers that are Gold Chain Music’s in-house producers. They been steady dropping projects and producing tracks for a gang of cats like a friggin’ arms race was going on! They even got a gang of music direction credits under their belts too! You can’t be a fan of Planet Asia, Tristate, Lyric Jones, Killa Kali and such without being a fan of theirs! Of course we gotta an interview comin’ son. A few points here. 1) You gonna need crows to come pick the meat off your bones if you think you gonna fit in these clothes unless you petite like the ‘Purple One’, or have no hip bones. 2) Hedi Slimane’s last show for Saint Laurent (man-wise) was a tour-de-force for some swaggy leather jackets inspired by rock and in particular electric guitar motifs. 3) For all the meticulous control Hedi demanded, Saint Laurent was winning as a business model. 4) He was on point with his. Showing you didn’t need to reinvent the wheel every season to make hits! Salute to Hedi and his next adventures!

Ya pretty much know what you’re going to get from a Saint Laurent campaign, which isn’t bad by no means. This season diggin’ the close ups and the introduction of some still life’s into the template. Word.

不可思议,直到现在我们才谈到到Hedi Slimane的摄影。那风格无论何时都是一眼就能分辨出的,这一季的秋冬男装广告为我们展现了众多的冒险的视角与瞬间。常规的构图被更广阔而大气的镜头取代,而仔细观察,更像是即兴地抓拍。在画面中的,一如既往是Slimane的酷酷的主角与摇滚元素。

Surprised its taken ’til now for us to mention Hedi Slimane’s photography. While its instantly recognizable, this season’s FW campaign for men drew us in with more adventurous angles and moments. The usual formal croppings were replaced by wider atmospheric shots, and closer, seemingly off the cuff moments. Still in the picture are Slimane’s cool subjects and rock and roll chic.
