To echo a great Vice article from back, ain’t art just gone wack too? There’s definitely stuff going on but some of it is just beyond me. Life size swords, trash heaps, whatever man. Anyways lets truncate that rant there and get to a few pieces we saw at Art Basel Hong Kong 2014 that we were just diggin’ for the flavor of it all!

Universe 25 by Zhan Wang. Before I saw the title I thought it looked like T2 smashed to bits before it fluidedly reconstructed itself.

Gulay Semercioglu is the artist. This ‘S’ is made from metal wire attatched to nails. I thought it looked aesthetically cool and reminded me of graffiti.

Takeo Hanazawa. This guy we will find. We profiled his Japanese truck photography on our Spitgan Facebook site (Facebook.com/Spitgan). That series was super dope. Turns out dude is quite the multi-media artist. Stay tuned! Oh and the fashion set, this boy is coming!
