I feel the atmosphere, I am from the tape era, and other than that I just got good words. The follow up to his, ‘Maffmajishun’ gem is deserved. If ya’ll missin’ that old Rza sound, I mean Enter the 36 era, Ralphiie bears that torch now. Also deeply enjoy the slang prostitution wit. Kamasi Washington releases a beast! 16 songs for your listening pleasure. I have only gotten through half of this opus but its amazingly light and uplifting in sounds. Definitely carries a Pacific Jazz influence perfect for cruisin’ ya kna? The opening track, ‘Fists Of Fury’ sets a funky tone and if you ain’t in the back seat by, ‘Testify’, you better check if you soul.
