BEST MEN’S HATS SS18 A-M

So we gonna go through the wide world of fashion and edit all into potent bite-sized chunks for ya’ll. Let’s set it off with the flyest of the fly in headgear for the SS18 season. We gonna split the brands down the middle of the alphabet cuz there’s so much heat going on. Let’s get too it!

SPITGAN fav, Astrid Andersen comes thru this season with these lace, pastel durags. It’s a unisex piece, and I thoroughly enjoy the spin on the signature Hip Hop item.

Loewe with this magical tie up head piece. I think it transports you to places of lore like the Shire and ish.

Is this just a piece of fabric on one’s head? From Kenzo’s Memento collection, I think its sculpted with far more intent than I want to give it credit for.

Antonio Marras loves the clash. Patterns and prints clash, fabrics clash. It’s a volatile mix and sometimes it works and it doesn’t for me. This season he gets the thumbs up for it’s muted palette, mostly dark to monochrome, and the interesting way he blended sheers with more robust tailored fabrics and velvets. Nice one! FW17.

毒品/ANTONIO MARRAS WOMEN’S PRE-FALL 2017

也許你不知道這個系列的靈感是來自一本出版於1928年的小說《查泰萊夫人的情人》，是一個貴族女人和工人階級的故事。於是這一個系列充滿了浪漫、神秘、反叛、什至顛覆。復古味道的印花加上瀟灑的喇叭褲、奢華的錦緞和天鵝絨配上透明的頭巾，都看得到當中反叛卻又華麗的感覺。Pre-Fall系列除了看時裝，造型、攝影都是其中一個值得留意的地方。Antonio Marras的攝影中，刻意形造了一個奢華貴氣的背景，但部分傢私卻蓋上膠套，留下一個神祕的想像空間給我們。

So we gonna go through the alphabet again, running through the who’s who of fashion and shouting out those that be doing it for us for the tweener seasons. Pre Fall 2015 is up and its in its teenage stages, growing into its own season. Strap up. Of course most of this is sourced from the main 3 fashion weeks of NYC, Milan, Paris with a sprinkle of London.
