It is true! Fashion is ahead of the curve. These looks from Comme De Garçons look like would fall right in with stylish women today, only that they were created in 1992! Titled, “Unfinished”, Rei Kawakubo’s collection was 144 pieces strong! Predominantly white, what really stood out were these fantastic patterned pieces and accessories. Chinese and Tibetan prints, checks, stripes etc, all mish-mashed together to stunning effect. SSS WORLD CORP PRINTS SS18

That tatted up stylish dude, Justin O’Shea is back after his short lived stint at Brioni. That really didn’t work and we sliced up that that effort viciously. SSS World Corp sees his return and this is where it’s at. Seems much more his flav too. From the collection gotta say the prints are $$$. It’s called, ‘Aloha From Hell’, and it goes hard. The man himself sporting the mushroom cloud Hawaii shirt is ill. Also the presentation seems to have happened in 3 stages on the Paris streets during fashion week. Parading in public with a minimal amount of invites. If you were there you there. Dope. Keep on son.

I didn’t really check for the H&M cross over cuz the pieces I saw looked pretty basic, so this collection comes as a complete surprise. In fact I gotta say its the best Erdem collection I have ever seen. I know the (these?) Canadians are known for their fondness of a floral print, the surprise is the plethora of variations they have spewed forth from their fountain of inspiration this season! More of this every season!

Dries’ 100th show! The gent ran through a retrospective of his work over the years bringing out an army of prints, dressed on favorite girls of the last 20 years. Timeless as ever, the only thing that didn’t sit well were the fur pieces. The print clashes, colors, and shiny fabrics still pack the punch of a master. Carry on Mr. Dries Van Noten!
