SPITGAN MAGAZINE: SPITTING MAD FIRE
Modement 於2010年由香港設計師Aries Sin成立。她的創作意念圍繞不少本地文化，例如我記得她有過一個系列以粵劇為藍本，但絕對不是你想像的將設計變成金銀繡線的長衫！她將概念融入自己的簡約剪裁和中性形象，一個絕對屬於Modement的cross-over。我喜歡這種念頭，因為利用本地文化去建立品牌和時裝確實最容易讓人記得，也是不少本地品牌缺乏的元素。
今季她的ss17主題是inside out。當我看到那條灰色不規則裙擺上的布邊裝飾，我想起了在《一念無名》中余文樂和曾志偉同住的劏房。很小的一間，窗邊有此布條作掛衣用，牆上有不少裂縫和碎磚。和電影一個理念很相似是，Aries想利用不同底面布設計，表達人常被表面迷惑，錯過外表醜陋下的美好。就像余文樂在電影中因情緒病而被歧視，沒人發現到在病患下美好的余文樂一樣。果然，有故事的時裝最易讓人有深刻印象。

Well the maestro continues to go go go! Still bringin his extended mixes to the runways 60 to 70+ looks at a time. I must say I continue to find his designs interested and relevant. A Prive collection comes to mind of recent… He does enough forwardness that it forces you to keep one eye up! Salute to Giorgio. Some breezy suit pairings and cuts here, baggy trousers loose, all to another season’s accomplishment!
